Let’s build a simple, low-cost site that is as rough-edged and darkly dramatic as the unique theatre productions it promotes.
Brooklyn-based experimental theatre group Division 13 Productions needed a simple and flexible templating system for their site. Before the advent of free/inexpensive content management systems, the managers simply selected appropriate pre-coded html modules to create their pages.
The design sought harmony with the identity system, conveying the raw, vigorous intensity of one of their signature live performances. The elements brought behind-the-scenes elements to life, offering a glimpse at scripts, blocking, props, set constructions - all the elements that come together in the moment to create a drama.
